Job Title: Residential Care Worker — Children’s Home
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

As a Team Leader, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home and provide leadership to the Residential care team. You will ensure consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and recording while supporting staff to deliver positive outcomes for children and young people aged 7-17.

What you will be doing

• Leading shifts and supporting/supervising Residential Care Workers

• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and care

• Reviewing records/handovers, and supporting care plans and risk assessments

• Responding appropriately to incidents

• Contributing to the Registered Manager with the effective running of the home

What we are looking for

• Relevant experience within children’s residential care

• Confident in leading a staff team

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s residential care

• Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare
